Tada! My first simple animation, this one showing how I make a pic. Wanted to do this after seeing a similar thing somewhere, so here it is.
Step 1. Nothing. Yep, starts with a blank page (though, technically, you gotta do a little research on poses, think up some ideas, etc.)
Step 2. The sketch. Everything starts with a nice pencil sketch. Spiffy no?
Step 3. Line Art. Re-draw everysingle line in Photoshop. I prefer the mouse, even though I own a Wacom Tablet, so all done by hand. As you can see, a drawing can change quite a bit from sketch to inking.
Step 4. Flat colors. Start out with picking all the colors that your character will be. By putting them on seperate layers you can easily change the skin, wings, horns, etc. as necessary.
Step 5. Shading. The long and arduous task of making those flat colors look a bit less, well, flat. I confess, did use the tablet a bit at this point. Depends on the drawing, really, I did this one kinda large, so the tablet is more effective than blurring.
Step 6. The background. One of the toughest parts. But, once it's done, so is the pic! Looks pretty good, imo.
i really think this helps but it's soo hard to make shading and those things you make there
but i try and it's very hard
